Target Assessment

Positioning the LT on the job site is does not need to be precise, but an optimal position can greatly reduce the amount of time to capture measurements and the chance of measuring errors. While positioning the LT, take note of the types of targets that will be needed, if any, based on the decided location to measure from.

• T-Targets are great to capture measurements of blind surfaces in which the LT does not have a direct line-of-sight.
• Pin Block Targets are great to capture measurements when the laser dot would stretch as a result of a shallow angle of the LT to the surface.
