Cross

Once the  LT has an established plane, it is recommended to capture a reference point (cross) before and after the job site measurements to verify the LT’s position has not moved while measuring. If the position of the two crosses captured before and after the job is not the same (within the LT’s tolerance), it should be assumed the LT moved and the job needs to be recaptured. 

1. Click Capture > Cross
2. Position the laser dot at any location on the job site that can be repeatedly measured.
   1. Sink centers are often used for this task. 
3. Click anywhere on the drawing area and a cross will appear in the center of the screen.
